When you’re an online student, it can be easy to feel isolated since you are not meeting with professors and other students on a daily basis. Thankfully, ASU provides many ways for online students to connect not only with the university but with other ASU online students as well through social media. The ASU Online Community is here to support you through your entire education, keep you updated about ASU Online services, and help you interact daily with ASU Online staff and students.
1) ASU Online
These resources are some of the best ways to learn about existing and new ASU Online services and to connect with other ASU Online students. Find and exchange tips about online learning, study habits, and staying organized. Also, make sure to check out the ASU on Facebook app (read more about it here), which was designed for ASU students and won’t affect your personal Facebook page.
2) ASU Tutoring Centers
Check out the Twitter account and Facebook page of the ASU Tutoring Centers for updates about ASU’s free writing and subject area tutoring and workshops as well as helpful articles and tips about how to access useful services such as free online, self-paced test-prep courses for graduate school.
3) ASU Libraries
Just like on-campus students, ASU Online students depend heavily on the ASU Libraries and are expected to utilize the library website often, so the ASU Libraries Twitter account and Facebook page are great places to check for information about library services, writing events and competitions, and citation guides.
